Burt1969
Has anyone got a photo of where the brake light switch(Mechanical) is located? I've already replaced my hydraulic switch but it still isn't very sensitive and want to upgrade to a mechanical switch. Many thanks Our Kitty! CharlesElliott
Inside the pedal box, at the top of the pedal? Do you really mean brake light switch as I'm a bit confused as to what this hydraulic switch is? You can see the brake light switch here in the centre left of the picture. Burt1969
Hi there, my car is a bit older than yours see pedals Here. The shiny nut at the top of the photo is the hydraulic switch. Our Kitty!
Burt1969
Okay the phot helps give me some ideas, has anyone got a photo of their own conversion? Also do you know what car the switch is from? Our Kitty!
Wrightpayne
Burt1969, you're welcome to pop in and have a look at mine - I'm only at Broughton Astley. Have we met at Hathern? (thats the trouble with Blatchat Usernames!). I have a yellow 1.6SS K series. Ian
Burt1969
Hi Ian, Yeah I do attend the Hathern meet........occasionally any way... you may recognise the car below. I'm the one that as long as it ain't raining, comes in the seven... I've had an idea about what to do so I'm off to drill holes and bend bits of metal. Will report back with photo.. Our Kitty! Burt1969
Cheers Oliver, got to say I'm quite chuffed with myself. Done loads of little upgrades and standard add ons but this is the first "non-standard" job I've undertaken on the seven without any guidance. 😬 Our Kitty!
