JampJ
Hi Graham, is it still for sale? I'm off to Australia soon, and I want to take one over with me. I owned a 96 sprint de dion for about 3 years which suffered badly from flaking powder coating. Yours shouldn't have that problem. Please could you send me a detailed spec and history of the car. Or send me your phone number, and I'll give you a call. Cheers John

JampJ
Lots of rules, quite a minefield really, here's the details regarding importing cars to Oz, but if it's a Caterham, there are further complications regarding vehicle compliance rules. For example, the exhaust has to be rear exit, a high level stop light has to be fitted etc. I'm trying to get hold of the relevant document at the moment. Rodrick Wyllie, of Caterham Australia is the man to speak to. I've emailed him, but as yet no reply (they certainly dont rush things in Oz)I f you go on: caterham.com.au click on: CONTACT US, you'll see his details. The transport regulation standards Bulletin VSB10- IMPORTING VEHICLES TO AUSTRALIA is on: www.dotars.gov.au/transreg/vsb/vsb_10.htm
