Casbar
Investigating the possibility of fitting an LSD to a live axle. I assumed a Quaife unit was the only possibility, but spoke to a company that makes plate LSD's who seemed to think the diff on the Ital axle was the same as the diff on a Spitfire, if that is the case, then there are plate LSD's that would fit. Does anyone know if the diff's are the same
Heres Jonny
I have had a english rally axal fitted with quaife halfshafts and lsd from a chap local who preps rally cars etc, not sure what lsd was fitted but it cost me a bob or two, if you need anymore info i can get his details. My motor is a 220bhp zetec, and a few mods were done by him, Not cheap but the job is excellent
James B.
Jonny, I assume you're not talking Ital axle here? James.
Morls
I *think* the (IRS) Spitfire CWP and (LA) ital CWP are interchangeable, as I have a ratio unique (as far as I know) to a GT6 in Mavis' ital axle to suit her 'Blade motor. Steve at SPC in reddich did mine, so is probably worth a call. Mark Look it's Mavis here and Jubilee 7 here
