  1. Cheers, Will try it tonight, thanks, Jonny
  2. Hi, I had a similar problem and wired the fan up to the heater switch, not replaced the thermostat and everything is okay, coud I ask which wires you picked up to light the indicator? Sounds a good idea, Thanks, Jonny
  3. Hi All, Hoping someone can give me some good advice! Driving early going fine, fuel into, start her up and a bloody awful mechanical sound...... 😳 Didnt drive it, thought better to be towed home. Upon inspection, somehow a small bolt has ended up wedged between the top right hand pulley behind the cam cover. I am no mechanic but I know thats not right, removed the rocker cover and managed to remove the offending article. It starts fine, but the right pulley has moved forward approx 3mm, and doesnt look true? The bolt has gauged the inside rear of the cam pulley There is a slight tinney sound coming from the engine, and the rocker cover has minor danage also to the block, I have tightened the cover up and run it in the garage, but it seems not to leak oil. I think I have already make my decision it needs a new pulley, by a professional, but any futher checks I can do before it goes for a check up! Looking forward to all opinions. Can mail photos if anyone is interested, Slightly dinted English pride and stuck in Holland on a tow rope!!!!! 🙆🏻
  4. Job Done, 2 seconds, just need it to stop raining, Thanks. Jonny
  5. Hi Mike, Thanks a job for morning and running again hopefully! john.costello@cefnl.com Thansk Matey, Jonny
  6. Hi Mike, Mine has been delivered now! Only problem is im stuck with the wiring? I had three connections originally on the old LRA. I see the bolt stud type thing is positive, and the two other connections for the load and charge indicator. Which goes were? I cant make head nor tail of the diagram, and scared to cook it for the money"! Thanks, Jonny
  7. HI Paul, I have had the same done to mine. I kept the old 4 spoke Revolution (Ital fitment) and had the studds enlarged to I think 10mm on the rear. These trusty wheels lasted for some time, but I bought a set of compomotive 13" CXR's all round, they look I think excellent. The old 14" 4 spokes are in the cellar gathering dust, if they are of any use? If you need the ofsets let me know I will tell you whats wrote on them! Let me know if you are interested, Jonny
  8. Cheers mine should be delivered Monday ! Back on the road hopefully for longer
  9. Hi Mike, I have just ordered the Enduro Kit, from Dunnell, just curious to see if you are pleased with it? Thanks, Jonny
  10. Hi Norman, It is a Valeo reference but I ended up with an AC Delco being in Holland. It fits with several modifications !!! AGAIN, but the pulley is worn internally and need replacing. I would also like to replace the fan blade which is slightly untrue after my off at Oulton Park ! Does this help? Thanks for your quick reply Jonny
  11. Just for interest, It seems the white cable with the tracer is the standard , however mine is brown with white! Maybe just a codge on my loom but if it helps anyone else, the rev counter now works again!
  12. Hello All, Can anyone tell me what make or supplier for a new v pulley for the alternator? The existing one has 6 grooves, 68mm overall diameter, 26mm thick? Any ideas, tried Raceline? Not standard, there a surprise....another unidentifable part on my car! Thanks, John
  13. Hi, Could anyone tell me what colour wires I need to get to the VDO Tacho and what settings the dip switches should be? The old Tacho packed up and the loom got damaged, as far as I am aware the loom is now okay, but the new Tacho does not work. I have the following connections 2,3,4 and the dip switches 1,2,3. Its a 2.0Litre Zetec Any help greatly appreciated! Its the only thing thats not working...For the minute! Thanks, Jonny
  14. Hi, I have the Racelinbe on my 2.0 Zetec, it looks great, maybe not as good as the raceco one, but what the hell! It reduced the noise level quite some, think the baffles were gone in my old one! I also have the 4:1 collectors, would recommend the raceline one, but the chance of a second hand one is slim I think! Good Luck, Jonny
  15. Caterhams........spotted, looking mighty fine, only a shame there was not mine! Nice to see the proper cars on show, it was my first sight of a real CSR200 stuck in the outback of Netherlands with stupid taxes! I dont know what is more disappointing seeing a diesel win at Le Mans, or seeing everyones caterham at Le Man and mines stuck in the garage in NL for 4 weeks for a new clutch cause the blokes busy Heres just a few of the ones that I photographed! R500 SVR, N18 CHD, L7 YUM, C7 YUM, GN06 EWS, SV54 CAT Hope the weather holds out for you all! Maybe I can make it next year in the CAT! Jonny
