Tony C
2003, 1.8 K-Series If anyone has their engine out or can otherwise give me the dimensions of the clutch release arm - the one in the bellhousing, I'd be very grateful. Measured in a straight line:- 1. Pivot to cable attachment. 2. Pivot to CRB attachment. Thanks 😬 BRG Brooklands SV 😬 It seems that perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing more to take away. John Vine
Tony, Assuming you have the standard Ford Sierra actuating arm, the dimensions (to the nearest mm or so) are: 1. 280mm 2. 110mm It sounds as though you're doing a mechanical advantage calculation (to do with pre-load, no doubt)? JV
Tony C
Who me? (F1 x d1 = F x d) It looks like my estimate from poking a flexible rule in through the hole in the top of the bellhousing wasn't too far out - thanks for the accurate measurement John 😬 BRG Brooklands SV 😬 It seems that perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing more to take away.
