Any suggestions for a fault-finding procedure - I'd rather not go to all the struggle of changing the cable first only to find that there's nothing wrong with it!!! Jingers Posted July 1, 2004 Share Posted July 1, 2004 If you do not have an angled drive for the cable at the gearbox then this is the point at which the inner cable can break due to constant flexing.
