Bob_r
at the risk of seeming a bit of an ignoramus, can anyone tell me what are the standard tyre sizes on an R500, the brochures and Web site only seem to give wheel sizes. Chelspeed
When they were on ACB10's they were 7-21/13 on the front and 8-22/13 on the back. Avon claim these (crossply) sizes are equivalent to 195/50 fronts and 245/35 rears or something like that, but take this with a large pinch of salt. Wait for someone to post the CR500 sizes for useful info.
rgrigsby
175/55 on the front 205/55 on the back.. or at least that's what it's got written on my tyres Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com
Bob Corb
Fattest 175 and 205s I've ever seen. Even Avons own website looks a bit suspect, check the "section" column for the CR500s. http://www.avonracing.com/tyres/tyregroup.asp?ID=3 shouldn't they be called 185 and 225? I replaced the Dunlop 235s on my tin top before crimbo with 235 Avon ZZ3s. They look like baloons now?! 😬
