Barry Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 The problem was occuring because post_infoSQL needs to have the url of the original thread so that after posting a reply it can send you back there to see what you have posted. So the code looks something like this: When I swapped the 'refer' and 'topic_title' fields around, the submit button disappeared, which would have solved the problem in this instance, but isn't good practice . So the extra single quote is forcing an error in the subsequent field. As a workaround, I've inserted a dummy input field after the 'topic_title' field, you can see this if you do a view/source at the page where you type your replies. Tonight, when it's slightly quieter, I'll htmlencode the 'topic_title' field, and that should fix it. Thanks for your patience Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
