Jeff
Just got a quote for rotors with alloy hats. Weight savings 1lb. + or -. This was my main reason for investigating this option. They will also be floating. The price was not cheap. What do you think? Is it worth it?

Alex Wong1697456877
(but then again, I'm not exactly the most weight concious person!) 😬
Chelspeed
Was this for vented? I converted mine to solid discs, very thin AP racing hillclimb discs, with alloy bells but not floating, weight saving was lots more than 1 lb. Contributed to my car weighing in at 488kg (with full SLR cage and iron block boat anchor engine) last week. Talk to BGD in Bromsgrove for more details. Joe 90
The unsprung weight as standard is about 65lb, so you shouldn't spend too much on a 1lb saving. You can get better value for money on calipers or wheels. 100,016 *biggrin*miles so far
