Steve-B
having had the CC one fail, i've heard that the VW one that goes into the radiator is the one to have. my last one failed and a new head gasket and switch was the method to have our VHPD back in reliable service again.. so what is the part number to replace the CC one, and get the VW one. price isn't an issue, as long as it'll fit a 2002 radiator. i don't want to have to replace the head gasket again *thumbdown* Steve 210Bhp Sinister Version-VHPD here
TomBerlin
Careful with that VW stuff. Some of them have a very high temp setting. Tom
Steve-B
i have sourced one from RatRace yesterday that is what the doctor(actually 'er indoors) ordered to insure we don't get to purchase another head gasket in the future.....i didn't want to set out on LtL and have another head problem(although generous others volunteered theirs) thanks Tom! Mick Day
CC supply a VW part as standard. After having switch after switch fail (you do have a manual overide?) I eventually rigged up a relay to switch the rad fan via the ECU. However you do need an aftermarket ECU (Emerald, GEMS, DTA, etc) to do this. With 210 BHP it sound as though you may have one though.
