jp7
Hi all, my flared wings have a couple of those little star marks caused by flying stones, and yesterday i managed to crack a line in the paint on one of them thats about a foot long , the actual fibreglass appears to be undamaged when viewed from underneath. My question is,should i wish to repair them, is it possible to flat back the paint sufficently to allow these marks to be taken out and then the wing repainted by TSK or do i need to get some new wings? Big Brother
Andy, My old wings were repainted by a local firm. Top finish and still look good a year later Steve Se7en-Up! Less is more!
Pierre Gillet
The gel coat needs to be replaced before any painting job. A normal polyester filler will not be up to the job. Pierre
