ID_7even_Two Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 Hey all, so I've purchased the Motamec version of the Spa mirrors. All looks good but I cannot get the ball joint to adjust, even with the grub screw taken out. It's rock solid! Am I missing something? The Allen key inside the mounting bracket is rock solid too. Shop isn't open till Monday so I thought I'd just throw it out there to see if anyone has had this problem or have I got a duff set. Thanks in advance. Andrew Bennett Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 The Allen bolt inside the mounting bracket was quite tight on mine but I managed to loosen it. I now have it tight enough to enable the mirror to move with some effort and then use the grub screw to nip it tight. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Colin_T Posted May 11 Share Posted May 11 I seem to remember mine being FT !! Think I put some long bolts through the mounting holes and held them in the vice and managed to loosen it off that way without damaging anything 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
