Colin_T
Hi all another R500 k series transmission related query… could someone let me know what original equipment was fitted to an R500 k in regard to clutch and flywheel ? were they a 7 1/4” “race” type AP clutch? or were they just an uprated “road” type steel clutch cover with an upgraded friction plate? information on hub style? sprung or solid centre? friction material used? Ceramettalic ? Organic ? Thanks in advance
rj
Organic with springs. Called uprated, but AFAIK they all were ever after the R500. And I'm being told it was marginal. I have a TTV setup for a 1.9 engine (no springs) that ought to be able to survive +260hp with a sequential box, but this is with bespoke flywheel as I'm moving to 36-2 rather than 36-4 trigger pattern.
