Bob L
Hi All, I have purchased a side intrusion bar, old school, to fit an imperial S3 1999 vintage. No fixing bolts. Can anyone advise what the bolt size is for the top bolt that connects the SIB to, what I believe, is the mounting point for the inertia seatbelt? I also need to drill the 2 mounting points in the floor. Anyone have any idea what size bolts are required here and any tips on alignment/ fitting? In fact, any info welcome. I appreciate that if anyone has fitted one of these, it was probably 20 plus years ago🫤 Thanks for reading, Bob

Wrightpayne
Bob, I’d check the hole size in the impact bar and go from there. I did have one of these once with a cage I brought. Never fitted it but from memory I’d say 1/4 inch. Also, IIRC these fix through the chassis tube below the front of the seat and cannot be fitted with a lowered floor. Bob L
Thanks. It’s not a lowered floor but no holes exist in the cross member under the seat. I assume they are all like that and just require drilling.
