Sounds like a lovely car, always fancied one of the last 1.4K Sevens as they are meant to be very sweet handling with just enough power to be enjoyed on the road.

Not that I'm in a position to make an offer, but would be nice to know roughly where in the country the car's located 🙂

Having a New Year "Back to the top of the list", now that Spring is on the way.

A long standing local Club member and good friend sadly needs to part with this cherished Seven.

Steve - I do wonder if the price is a little strong, especially for the time of year.  Dealer forecourt would perhaps attain that amount.

Whilst it is a numbered limited edition they dont have the same desireability as the Superlights. That said they are a cracking car and do have a cult following!

Price now reduced from £!7,000 to £14,950 - A steal at that price, but must be sold.

Can be viewed in Suffolk, PM me if interested and I'll put you in touch with the owner.

Absolutely fab car and the 1400ss was the first caterham I ever drove - a test drive from the showroom on the hill.  I got there early on a saturday morning as they were opening (pre-booked) and they just chucked me the keys and said see you later.

Just a thought - is the 1400ss 130bhp when the 1600ss is supposed to be 135bhp?

Dear Steve,

Has the car been sold or not? I' ll be in the UK in the first week of April and I am tempted. The early K-Series, and especially this 1996 limited edition, have always been my favourites for a roadgoing Caterham.

Best regards
