K Series - Guide to Changing Head Gasket

Unfortunately one of the most important things to do when changing a K Series head gasket is to work out WHY it failed.

It could be just a single gasket failure, but there's often an underlying cause (softened head, porosity of the head, low liners, uneven liner heights etc.) and spotting some of these tends to be a matter of experience rather than something it's easy to write a simple step-by-step guide for.

If you just replace the gasket and don't identify and remedy the cause, you'll be back here again in no time.

Drop me a PM if you want to chat about it.
