NeilGC
Is my car (in title above) likely to be happy with the forthcoming E10 petrol? Naturally the GOV.UK E10 checker hasn't heard of Caterham Cars (nor Lotus for that matter).
Dave Hardcastle
There is a UK government site where you can check vehicle compatibility. With a Ford engine the site says, "E10 is cleared for use in all petrol driven Ford models sold in Europe since 1992 excluding:Ford Mondeo 1.8 SCI from 2003 to 2007." OldAndrewE
Not saying you are wrong, in fact you are probably correct, but it is not just the Ford engine but all the components in the fuel system that need to be compatible
CPS7
Stick rover in for a k series and site says no info available as manufacturer no longer trades......
simon_h
It had all Land Rover products from 1996 as ok so that covers a standard k series engine. Obviously not necessarily the other bits caterham fitted up to the fuel rail though
Tom_Arundel
I wonder if Caterham will do an ECU reflash for E10 as it probably needs different injection and ignition curves. (Hint, hint )
