classic1952
Is there a better product around than the standard Caterham drop link ball joints for Imperial cars? Mine need replacing and I would like to fit a better product, preferably stainless and sealed for life, if such a thing exists.

classic1952
I have tried it with and without but prefer to keep it.

classic1952
Thanks for the link. McGill's products seem to be metric rather than Imperial?
John Vine
I confess to finding the imperial/metric distinction confusing where drop links are concerned. The imperial ball joints are, I'm told, 1/4" x 5/16", although I don't know which thread is internal and which external. The metric ones are M8 x 1.25 for both. And yet, CC Parts quotes the 72118 ball joint as suitable for both the 30R024A (metric) and 72120 (imperial) drop link. Can anyone clarify?JV
