Neanderthal
Having trouble over last 6 months with a vibration when taking up drive which disappears after a few mins and then intermittently at about 40 mph where car feels like it is driving over a short rumble strip. Local garage replaced transfer box oil which removed problem 1 for a while but now its back. I am thinking there is an issue with transfer box itself. Car is a 57 plate 2 litre petrol auto. Any wise words really appreciated. Cheers.
SM25T
Maybe better asking on a RAV4 forum ?
K7 VCT
Our 80k mile 2005 rav4 4x4 is like driving a new car. No squeak, rattles etc. Toyota make cars to last, sure the Rav4 owners maybe able to help, I found a way to disable the bong bong bong when the keys in ignition and door opened from their knowledge. Best of luck
Neanderthal
Tried the RAV forum. Think I'm on the right lines, just after any other views as there's lots of mechanical engineering knowledge on here. Cheers.
