HendrixsWhiteStratReturns
Had a new anodized screen fitted last year but the salt has played havoc with the surround - I recall someone on here had the same issue and used a proprietary cleaner to buff it back some some semblance of decent order ...damned if I can recall what it's called !!Anyone had the same issue / recommend a suitable product ? Shougle
You could try Solvol Autosol Annodised Aluminium if the corrosion is only superficial.

ChrisC
Just think of the damage that salt is doing to the unprotected skin, and impossible to clean joins between skin and steel. Hate salt with a passion.

Bricol
Anodising controlled increased oxidation of the ali - the salt has just done some uncontrolled oxidising, so I can't imagine you'll do much with anything on it other than with a sanding disc.Mine did it the first winter - salt trapped under the hood front section. never got any worse, but always looked terrible. auyt
Anodising and chrome are porous and bare ally all should have a few coats of carnauba wax from new.
