Doug phillips
Having just removed one of my rear wings (flipping spinning rivnuts ) I have noticed that the above has a fair bit of movement in it about 8-10 mm left to right. Is this normal, or are the rubber bushes worn they have never been changed and must be 17 years old. If the bushes are worn, this could be the source of the squeak that I cannot find.
ChrisC
The side to side moment is normal, the ARB is wider than the mounts holding it, which is why the movement is there. However I would replace all the bushes if everything is 17 years old.
SM25T
Radius arm getting very close to the caliper in the photo angle ? I ended up fitting 5mm spacers to my DeDion ears to move calipers outwards.
Doug phillips
Chris, thanks for that I think I will change the bushes as it's easy to get to. Ian, there is about 6mm gap, and in 17 odd years it's not been a problem (famous last words )
SM25T
Watch the gap as the pads wear down.
