Budjuggler
My PVR25 is now getting on a bit and seems to be beyond recovery. Is the PC680 a direct replacement - especially in size as it needs to fit an existing carrier? Thanks
Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 10, 2018 Member Share Posted January 10, 2018 I don't understand the ranges. When my PVR25 failed I replaced it with a Clubsport which worked well and was very cheap. IMHO that was the best solution for ordinary 7s. After that I bought another Clubsport, and am now in dispute with the manufacturer it over not holding charge.Jonathan
Budjuggler
Thanks. Not sure if that’s a recommendation. Or not!
Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 10, 2018 Member Share Posted January 10, 2018 !!!I thought that the Clubsport was the best buy because it was so cheap, sealed and seemed to do everything needed. I had one good one and would have recommended it without reservation. If they'd replace mine like for like I'd accept that like a shot.Unless it was time to jump to lithium... as in one of the many other threads I'd now be happy to buy a reputable make but don't yet think it's worth it.Jonathan
Tony Whitley
I have a PC680 in my car, I can bring it to ReHaB tonight so you can compare if you bring your PVR25. I recently had to deal with Powervamp to replace a faulty unit (no complaints about how that was handled) and pass this on:I just thought I would mention that we won’t be selling batteries on the eBay platform going forward, but we will still be taking orders by phone. Budjuggler
The PVR25 is 189x79x170. Is this the same as the 680?
Tony Whitley
I measure 179 long x 73 thick x 168 high but the datasheet says 184.7 long x 79.0 width x 191.8 height I'll bring it along...
