mcerbm
I have cracked a head light glass unit and I am in th eprocess of changing it out. The old glass unit has been removed from the headlight surround and I am trying to get the three spring clips in to secure the new one. There has to be a trick to this that I am missing, those three clips are a nightmare to fit on your own, any tips? (apart from wearing safety glasses as they are lethal projectiles!)

SM25T
Have you got the clips the right way round ? Look at the other light for guidance.
mcerbm
Thanks Jonathan, got it. I was trying to get both ends in then rotate the clip down will pushing it in. Had a few projectiles....Managed to clamp the assembly together in 3 places to make up for lack of extra pair of hands. Then used your one end in, and splay with pliers.cheers! OliverSedlacek
Confidence helps as any nervousness tends to loosen your grip, hence the flying projectiles!
