Stop & Tail Lamps ( Cree 80W Led )

I am trying these plug and play like for like Cree Led replacements and so far very impressed .From Car mod shop £28.95

As you can see they are multi angle facing

From my link, it's using 16 x Cree XBD emitters. Those are rated (by Cree) for up to 3W. So in theory they could be 48W per bulb.

If you have a multimeter and a car battery (and care!) you might want to put the multimeter on it's 10A range, then connect the bulb to the battery via the meter.  That will tell you how many amps it's actually using, and by multiplying by 12 you'll get the actual wattage. My guess is that it'll be about 20W - so the same power consumption as a filament bulb but brighter due to the more efficient LEDS.

Two points Roger 1 = The lamps you have shown for £10 less are for one lamp not two ! . 2 = I'm not an expert on wattage all I can say is they are a lot brighter than standard they don't get hot and it's what it says on the advertising  !! Don't shoot the messenger
