Mankee
Was it neil_g from Essex who owned this car? I'm sure I remember seeing it for sale on the old Blatchat and thinking that it was a great car for the money.

Chris Martin
Road Legal Caterham Fireblade Track Day Package including Brian James Minno Sport Trailer and Tyre Rack Welcome to my listing for this beautiful and highly desirable Caterham Fireblade. This car is one of the original Caterham approved James Whiting Fireblades with only 24 vehicles manufactured. Please click on the following link if you are unaware of the history behind this BEC Caterham…… http://www.jameswhiting.com/page10.html First registered on the 15th April 2003 to its orginal owner, I then subsequently purchased the car in September 2012 therefore I’m the second keeper with the V5 present and in my name. Work carried out by Chris at “The 7 Workshop” at a cost of £1700. Barnett clutch (USA) fitted 700 miles ago New 12 month MOT with no advisoriesDuring 2011 / 2012 I was playing around with various cheaper severn bodied kit cars (MK Indy / Robinhoods). Having sold my MK at that time a friend who was a Lotus Seven club member found me this ultimate track day weapon….he knew I wanted to 'dip my toe' into a few track days and basically this car ticked all my boxes. I'm the type of chap that when I decide to do something I do it properly, so over time I have built up the full package. Although I have only done a handful of track days with most of these being at Cadwell Park I have had just as much enjoyment driving it on and through the Cotswolds. It’s a fantastic fun drive, light and nimble so perfect for the road or track. If I'm honest I'm still talking myself in to selling it as this car is my pride and joy however I'm looking to climb further up the ladder regarding power and performance much to the wife's annoyance!!In addition to the car itself I am including a Brian James Minno Sport trailer (vin plate present). The trailer is equipped with a genuine Brian James high level tyre rack and is also furnished with 2 sets of wheels / tyres. I have a set of scrubs sitting on black minilites and a brand new set of wet tyres sitting on a pair of gold Compomotive's for the front and a pair of silver Slotmags for the rear. The trailer has great tyres all-round and has sliding concealed alloy ramps. There is a winch fitted and also metal strap box bolted to the front A-frame. I'm happy to include the anti theft wheel lock, tyre rack cable lock and rachet straps. The car has a few small marks and stone chips as you would expect . The rear nearside wheel arch has a small crack in the GRP but I will include a brand new wheel arch in the correct colour….just needs bolting on. Obviously I would expect any person who is serious about purchasing this car to come and view first so no silly offers please. The listed price is for the full package but if you are only interested in the Caterham then I would be prepaired to split the package down. The car is currently insured via Adrian Flux on a fully comp policy for £195 with an agreed valuation certificate of £19,000 for the car only. I think this covers everything, but do of course feel free to get in touch with any queries you might have.We are based just outside the Tudor town of Tewkesbury in GloucestershireFeel free to contact me on 07973 512361
