Member Jonathan Kay Posted December 22, 2014 Member Share Posted December 22, 2014 The resistor readings for various senders are in the archives.Never played with a Stack gauge but can you do it one pass by running to empty then adding say 5 l at a time?Jonathan
Angus
CraigIf you have the Caterham standard stack I dont think you can calibrate the fuel settings. I got mine unlocked by Stack. The manual here (you need to register to access it) gives you the calibration procedure for an unlocked unit.
zetec
I've got a replacement stack gauge for more acurate reading. i took out the float & did min & max on that but that can't mean min & max with fluids in.i must be doing something wrong or have it set too low. Angus
In calibration mode I did mine by adding fuel 2 litres at a time into the empty tank until I got the first reading. That is 'Min' - 0 litres on the guage. I think it took about 6 litres. Then I added 2 litres for 3 settings and then 5 litres after that and took readings as per Stack's calibration procedure. I think there is room for about 8 settings max. I wanted more accuracy when the tank was low.
