RogW
Emailing direct from a post . . .lets try this . . http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/envelope.png or this http://www.lotus7.club/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.pngOh good :)So if you put in a Smilie; highlight it then and go to the Link icon (the chain bit), you then select Link Type and scroll down to E-Mail. Put in what ever email address you want to use, add a subject and text as well. When the reader clicks on the smilie - they get taken to their email software (Well it does on mine!). I guess you could put your BlatMail address in if you knew if (if that option is still working in the background - who knows!).Well it works on my Mac and iPad with email address . . . !Rog
Grandmaster Flatcap
Roger that doesn't work for me - web based Gmail user. Also, if I hover over you your smilies I can still see your mail address, so no real benefit over posting your address in clear text to be cut'n'paste'd

Area Representative paul richards Posted October 3, 2014 Area Representative Share Posted October 3, 2014 I assume the problem with displaying e-mail address is unwanted spam etc.Not sure whether this would help, but you could include your contact details in the "About Me" section which I think is only visible to members. You could just show for a limited period (e.g. when you have something for sale). Unfortunately it wouldn't allow non members to contact you.Similarly on a post you can include your e-mail in a non e-mail form e.g.john dot smith at hot mail dot co dot ukHappy to be shot down if these are of no use.
