Nov-07
The rubber rings, between the instrument bezels and dasboard, of my Seven need replacing. Can anyone point me to a source either of made-up square-section rings or of lengths of "cord" for making such rings? I tried a set of round-section O- rings from B&Q but they have perished very quickly and are clearly of the wrong material. CC do not have the two sizes in stock - and theirs are very expensive ☹️
Drumster
When I rebuilt my 7 I seem to remember I had trouble sourcing new o-rings and never got round to fitting them. Not really been an issue in the following 7 years despite being out in all weathers....
ECR
Viton cord is listed on eBay in various diameters. Viton is generally superior to standard o ring material. A decent superglue will join it.
