Air Filter rubbing on Heater Hoses

Morning All,

Duratec R300, has anyone had a problem with cone air filter rubbing on heater hoses.

If so have they come up with a fix, other than cable tying hoses out of way. That does strain them a tad though.

Seems to me it needs small offset on filter and possibly and extension of some sort.

What size filter do you need? SM25T found a K&N with a slightly angled neck that kinks it away from whatever is in the way. An offset neck might also work.

Of course the only real options are:

1) Ditch the heater you big wimp *tongue*

2) Upgrade to roller barrels *eek*

3) Both of the above *wink*

Joking aside, I think the newer plenum is straight so that an airbox can be used. That might also be an option.
