Dave B Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 Finally got the engine and gearbox out of the car ( 1600 K ) and ready to take the gearbox to R&R when I come to UK in March. Found out the oil leak was not the front crank seal after all but the bolts fixing the oil pump had worked loose. Changed the seal and cam belt anyway but I need to replace some gaskets and not sure if they are standard rover or CC only. Exhaust gasket ( 4 primaries into 4 : 1 cat ), water rail, cam cover. Mankee Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 Exhaust gasket: LKG100300 Water rail gasket: PET10042 Cam cover gasket: LVP100630 Can get all the bits from Rimmer Brothers, eBay etc., although I've used Britcar (http://www.brit-car.co.uk/) in Manningtree, Essex recently for various gaskets and random little bits and bobs.
