Bob_r Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Hub is integral to brake drum, just take the small hub cap off, remove split pin and undo the centre nut. Whole assembly should slide of easily, if not locate brake adjuster on the back plate and back it off. Outer wheel bearing will come out when you slide the hub off, you will need to take an oil seal out to access the inner bearing if you want to repack it properly. No need to touch the brake shoes or springs unless the linings are worn out, or the linings fall off the shoes....not uncommon.
