diggerman
Just read Lowflying and slightly puzzzled by Graham McDonalds statement on the ending of Duratech engines. Once the Caterham stock has gone, is that the end? What will replace it? Will the Sigma continue? Does anybody know? Peter

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted March 24, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted March 24, 2013 Graham told us that Caterham had a good stock, having been warned by Ford. I took this to be about two year's supply. Think how long their stock of K Series engines lasted and infer from that would be my advice. From the other comment Graham made, it will be smaller capacity and forced induction. We may get an indication of the choices they are investigating when the new Classic arrives in June/July. (my guess is that that will be an Ecoboost, bearing in mind the existing arrangements with Ford as engine supplier) Edited by - Golf Juliet Tango on 24 Mar 2013 17:32:

Dr Slotter
It's only the N/A Duratec-HE engine that is being run out as production of the Duratec-HE Ti-VCT engine (a.k.a. 2.0l Ecoboost) production ramps up at Valencia.
