spiderlane Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Hi I used this stuff Heat Shield Material to cover the outside of the footwells and stuck it on with clear silicon. I retrofitted it after I'd built the car - tricky but not impossible. Made a very welcome difference to long drives on hot days. I believe some of the newer cars already have such insulation fitted at the factory - so if it's a new build you might not need to?
