Robert S
Hi, I need to remove (renew) the clutch on my 4 yr old Sigma 150 HP. Has done only 4000 miles but to honest, quite a few miles on track! I've been told that that the engine can be removed leaving the transmission/bell housing in the car (with suitable support under the gearbox). Any ideas/hints will be most appreciated. Also, my radiator which developed a very minor leak (lots of white splash marks over the front crossbars and engine) a year ago has has now become problamatic that its time to renew. Again, I seem to have read somewhere that the Caterham supplied rads can have this problem and that there is an alternative supplier.Any views again greatly appreciated. myothercarsa2cv
For the rad, try nipping up the crimps with a suitably large pair of pliers before replacing. It's where the plastic meets the metal that they usually leak. Terrible design, but mine has been (touch wood) trouble free since I attacked it! makingff
RadTec do excellent radiators if you're not able to fix yours. Simon
sevenmad
Swapped the rad on my sigma for the all metal R400 rad as used on the supersport 140. Much better than the pLastic headed monstrosity. CC gave me money off as I complained that the plastic one was not up to the job. Several others have done the same
sevenmad
This may help with regards to taking the engine out without the gearbox. It obviously will need modifying for a sima engined 7.
