Ignition Timing

On your car timing is controlled by the ECU and can be varied. When you are idling it will probably be affected by the coolant temperature, so you need to get the engine hot to get a usable reading. But even then, it might vary as the ECU will probably use it to control the idle.

So to sum it up: I would expect it to be very hard to come with suggestion as to what your idle should be without disabling various adjustments in your ECU
