jimmyslr
This one I can answer! Yes, can be done. I have 1.9 k-series, scholar block etc etc. Only a 6 speed box though so you have an advantage there. Mapped at c250 bhp. We've raced it at Brands Indy on slicks and Avon zzrs in Semsec and mag 7s. Didn't race this year but did in prior years. On slicks in 2010 I think we had a 49.0 or a 49.1, something like that. On zzrs in 2011 I think there might have been a few laps under 50.0, but not regular. They were my co-driver's times who's a good amateur. I'm a few tenths slower and I'm always a big girl's blouse around paddock. That's not hanging about, at race pace and was class leading at that time. But these are fun, amateur races so it's not like we are all Vettel-like in our skills! We then proceeded to do the driver change slowly and 20s after the window so were penalised 2 laps. Oops. Never mind as was super fun. Car is sitting in my garage unloved right now. Must race it again next year.
jimmyslr
Or you can lend your slick shod caterham to Jez above and he can demonstrate his trophy winning skills by taking out the brake board and your rear wing.....
Z3MCJez
Ahem ... Cough cough. Shame that we weren't timing before that 'incident'. I'm just glad you'd taken the carbon fibre ones off Jez
