Caterham K-series race 4-1 exhaust system: wrapped, 6" silencer

Putting my current exhaust tentatively up for sale now, as I've got an SLR/VHPD system to fit over the winter. It's a Caterham long-primary race 4-1 system with no CAT and primaries that exit the side skin. I've wrapped the primaries this year and only refitted a couple of weeks ago. It's done about 45 mins of idling/fast idling on the drive last week! Smoked like heck, so you don't have to worry about dealing with that yourself. *smokin*

Also has a 6" silencer instead of the normal 5" one, as my old one was ludicrously loud (>103dB). It normally produces 94 to 96dB between 4500 and 5000rpm on a warmed up engine, so will be fine for many tracks. Can also come with a new lambda sensor boss/bung for FREE, as I was going to fit one in the silencer pipe for easier access to fit a probe for mapping.

From some research, it is the below Caterham system:

but with the 6" VX/Rover race silencer:

in lieu of the puny 5" original:

My primaries for cylinders 2 and 3 are joined up for some reason, so it might be a slighly older version, but this doesn't cause any problems. Apart from being awkward to get the wrap round! I am keeping my existing lambda sensor, but you can have the clamp and nuts and bolts if you like.

It's in good condition but by no means concours. There are strap marks on the silencer where a guard was fitted, but you can probably polish these out, if you are that way inclined. The underside of the silencer is a bit scraped and has had a couple of patches for repair work. You can't see it when it is fitted though. The silencer exhaust is also straight cut, rather than outwardly rolled.

The exhaust is still on my car and I was hoping to get some time on the rollers with it and my new engine in December. So, ideally, I'd like to move it on towards the end of December/beginning of January. From what I've read, this system is capable of well over 200bhp, but I needed a system to go much further...

Considering that the system would set you back over £900 from Caterham, I'm putting a price up of £375, which I hope is fair! *smile*

OK, that's fine, Gary. I'll be able to courier the manifold and collector up to you if I can't get it up there any other way. Just need to wait until Tom hears back from AP and then we can start to work things out. There is a local club member who may want the whole system if this doesn't work out with you guys. *smile*
