Unclefester Posted September 26, 2012 Share Posted September 26, 2012 Mine was a VVC engine, and is now an 'XVVC' 204bhp one. It's a superb bit of work.I can't compare it to the 160bhp stock car, ours was the 145bhp 111S anyway, and the work had been done before I bought it. If you do it, make sure you have the new Emerald with 3 way map switching, otherwise MoT time will be a nuisance. You need a leaner map for the MoT emissions, and on ours this makes the car almost undriveable, with kangarooing at low engine speeds.
