Hazzer

Recommended Posts

From several years of ownership I have built up a small number of items that are filling space in my garage and would be far better on somebody's car or at least in their garage instead of mine *tongue*

New luggage rack, never used including strap - £40 ***SOLD***

2x New standard crossflow oil pumps, age unknown, unboxed - £10 each (suggest that oil filters fitted to them there currently should not be used )

New Rose Jointed Live Axle A-Frame with appropriate bearing and fittings included - £110

What looks like a complete crossflow oil cooler assembly (Cooler, Fittings, Sandwich Plate and 2x sets of hoses - 1 set braided and 1x set rubber) - £80

Used original crossflow flywheel, age and usage unknown - £5

Crossflow duplex timing gear, looks like it hasn't had much use, but history unknown - £10 **SOLD**

Used Spare wheel attaching adaptor and bolt - £5

Original (1993 vintage) chrome headlamp bowls and wipac lens - Bowls are a bit rusty but lenses look ok - £5 for the pair..

Used wipers - Free to a good home!

Details on gearbox to follow when it gets identified....

Hazzer, your gearbox is a Ford Type 2 as fitted to MkI & II Escorts - see here

They came in standard and close ratio versions, the latter specced for Caterham instals but in the absence of external identifiers (at least, I'm not aware of any) you'll probably need to have the lid off and count teeth to confirm what you have. No chance of it having Quaife straight cut gears like mine I suppose?

Could I have a speculative dibs on your A frame pls? I'll let you know in 24 hours.

I obviously hadn't seen the replies to your other thread when I replied re. the gearbox. Interesting about the ridge on the input shaft - didn't know that.

I'd still like dibs on the A Frame though *thumbup*

Mark, my 24 hours is up and I'm afraid I must step aside.

Best of luck with the sale - worth noting that Caterham are 'out of stock' so you may currently be the sole supplier of new rose jointed A Frames *smile*

Hi Steve,

It looks like it is designed to fit on the back of the car, not under, I assume the back Alu Panel would need a couple of bits taking out of it.. I have added another picture of the fitting onto the link for you to look at.

Cheers
