Duratec Cylinder head

A couple of years ago we had a "whoops moment" at Cadwell an a few valves touched a few pistons. After I stripped it down and saw the problem it's been sat in the shed. It a 2001 engine. So...

2.0 HE block with good crank needs new rods, pistons and end bearings. Unknown mileage but the bores show no signs of significant wear and no lip at the top but needs measuring properly. £40 Sold to Simon

Cylinder head with a mark between the valve where a valve head struck after it had brocken off 🙆🏻 Needs new guides and valves so may be ideal for a big valve convesion. Has all the cam followers and springs £ 25

Standard fuel rail from a 1999 2.0 HE Focus complete with injectors 10,000 miles £ 20. Sold

Coil on Plug units off the same Focus, 4 of them and were running OK £ 20 . Sold

Cam chain cover £5 Sold to Simon

The bits are in York and would be better collected but postage or carrier costs by the buyer. May take offers but the bits a very cheap anyway!

Cheers Andy D

No, I mean each plug has a coil straight onto the top of it and there are trigger wires from the ECU.

All the VW/ Audi have them although I don't know when Ford started with them. I think the latest Duratec Caterhams have them.

My existing system has a single coil and them plug leads to each cylinder.

Engine block and Cam cover sold

Hi Elie

To make things clear- There are 4 coils and each one fits directly onto each spark plug and the are controlled by the ECU. It is not a single unit. have a look at this web site and it will show you a similar item www.plugtopcoils.co.uk

Cheers

Thanks Elie, just making sure.

I will send the fuel rail, injectors and 4 coils to Mav at his home address.

I will send next day delivery to arrive by Wednesday nightand I will have to let you know the postage costs and then I'll mail you to total.

I guess the postage will be £12

Regards Andy
