Anton
LE0 is in need of some TLC, including respraying rome small areas. The colour is Titanium - according to Caterham a Ferrari colour coded FER3238. Anyone any idea where I could get some in a spraycan?
mav
Halfords. Go to the parts desk and ask.
Anton
I did - perhaps I chose the wrong day. Very young girl behind the counter just said "I'm sure we don't have anything for Ferraris" and suggested I look at their colour chart, which I'd already done. Was there anyone else in the shop who could help - no, just the guy who does the bikes - a spotty youth of maybe 16 who admitted he had nothing to do with the car side of things, I'll try again on a weekday when there might be someone more knowledgeable in! Anton
Jerry - thanks for that. Tried both the code and the actual Ferrari name for the colour, but no luck on the website. I'll give them a call on Monday
huwp
I've had Halfords make up a bottle (smallest size was about 250ml as I recall!) of paint in that colour and was offered a spray can as an alternative. With someone who knows what they're talking about you should be fine.
James_Russell
I had great results on an old CG125 fuel tank with a £14 aerosol can mixed by 'Metalflake' in the Chessington Industrial estate. Over the counter and a very helpful bunch ETA: remember metallic silver is a very difficult colour to match!
