CSR7 Hillclimber
For data logging. No problem to use hub bolts as pick-ups on the front but have not been able to devise pick-ups for rear wheel speed sensors. Has anyone got a solution, may be someone in the Masters Series who have data loggers
Area Representative Richard Price Posted December 23, 2011 Area Representative Share Posted December 23, 2011 Richard, Not a CSR, but I'm logging average rear wheel speed by counting prop to diff flange bolts. However, they're not equidistant, and my DL1 got a little , so I added a couple of washers under opposite bolts, and now only read two of the four. If you really want to log individual wheels, have you thought about cloning the speedo drive ring pressing it onto shaft that doesn't have one? CharlesElliott
I ready the driveshafts with my DL1, one for each shaft with the sensors mounted on the diff (not a CSR, but shouldn't really make a difference). By reading both you can determine wheel speed differences and wheelspin etc.
