The front ones were bonded directly to the cycle wings, the rears used an 'L' shaped bracket with 'U' clamps. Worked very well. Stationary M25 Traveller Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 Before I bought longer front wings, I used a flat piece of 5mm thick rubber to make a mud flap, and bonded some studs with perforated square heads inside the bottom of the cycle wings, then attached the rubber sheet to the studs with some large flat washers, so the rubber flap hung down below the wing. Guess you could do somethign similar on the rear wings too. They must have heard about your sticky tyres 😬 😬 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

wjblundell Posted October 27, 2011 Share Posted October 27, 2011 A sensible idea on stoney Cyprus roads. Made mine from 6mm reinforced rbber sheet fastened between the stay and the front wing.
