nicmac
Hi all sure I have seen in here before but cannot find in a search anyone know the dimensions for the jubilee clips that hold the heat shield in place on the exhaust? Are the CC ones stainless? Any recommended sources? Thanks
Wrightpayne
Demon Tweeks do a jubilee clip kit with 2 sizes. 8 small & 8 large worm drives and 2 rolls of the banding. When you wear one through just make another. I used the smaller ones for the heat wrap on the exhaust manifold. Last set I brought came with a free flexi nut driver tool all for about £15 IIRC Ian

tbird
depends on what size your exhaust is, just measure the circumference Tim
jakeandlizzy
I used the ones roger used. They may rust a bit, but no big deal as, like he says, when you crunch them on some curbing/break it/or won't come undone when you need to, just make another! Makes sure the windy bits are not at the bottom 😔
John Hughes
Nick I may have some stainless ones in the garage if you are not in a rush until next week. Will check when I get home later, John
Jason Plato
I may be mistaken but I think I got my stainless ones from B&Q in the chimney and heating section , they are used for gas fire outside flues .
nicmac
Thanks Guys I was struggling to find anything long enough but some great ideas there. John if you do have some stainless that would be great I only need two for the small cat shield. Cheers Nick
