Regrettably the time has come to sell this cherished car.

Caterham 7 Supersport in Caterham Yellow wrapped in Matt Black ( the Monster logos are easily removed as is the wrap itself) with extensive specification as below;-

Carbon front CSR style wings with lowered stays,

Carbon nose cone,

5 ¾ " headlamps with uprated bulbs on lowered headlamp brackets,

Carbon front indicator pods with clear lenses,

Wide track front suspension with orange ARB,

AVO Alloy adjustable dampers,

Car has been flat floored for a 110kg driver,

Carbon dash incorporates mechanical water temperature gauge and oil pressure gauge a large red low oil pressure light and audible turn indicator. Starter button. Auxillary power outlet,

Recent heated windscreen(Carbon Aeroscreen also available along with half doors),

Lowered floors to drivers side,

Leather S Type seats.

4 point harnesses.

DRE Shift Light,

Quick release Momo steering wheel with Rapfix boss,

Gel Battery,

AP 4 pot uprated front brakes with Mintex M1144 pads,

Available with a choice of either Compomotive CXR wheels 6" front & 7" rears with Toyo 888's tyres of 185/ 205 width OR Minilight style Black centres with silver rims 6" front & 7" rears with 185/205 Yoko 021's,

Tall roll cage bar or Caged FIA roll bar,

SBF7S Classic half hood with easy in for both driver and passenger,

Doors,

SBF7S Mohair Boot cover,

Shower cap,

 

1.8K series engine built by Andy Belcher (of Tech 7 fame and technical guru behind the GTKY7 articles and workshops) in spring 2009,

 

Single tang rods.

Omega forged pistons.

Following work carried out by DVA.

29.5 inlet valves, 27mm exhaust with bronze guides

Converted to solid followers with Piper 740(285) cams

Head ported and polished

Piper Vernier Cam Pulleys

Manual tensioner pulley

TF160 big ends.

Lightweight flywheel.

Jenvey throttle bodies.

Emerald ECU.

Bernard Scouse airbox,

Apollo oil/air separator,

Rebuilt with new belts, head bolts & gasket, cambelt & tensioner etc.

This configuration was mapped by Dave Walker at Emerald producing 198bhp & 148lb/ft torque,

Total engine mileage 10000 miles. This is a really sweet and tractable engine with a smooth power curve.

Radtech radiator and larger fan,

AP Suretrak LSD

4-2-1 exhaust Powerspeed repackable silencer which measures approx 96db,

Serviced last month,

Tax till end October 2011, MOT till Sept 2012. Total mileage 29,000 miles

Personalised registration available by separate negotiation,

Serviced, fettled and lovingly cared for, with file of paperwork, build photo's etc.

I am the second owner and have owned since April 2007.

Yeah but the carbon looks sooo nice!! I just can't resist the pie!!

 

Sad I know but I'll be back in a seven as soon as I can *cool* and I'm not going to leave you all just yet.

 

Carl I may not have a car but I'll still come and watch you all and have a few beers with you all.
