ECR
On my 1990 chassis the front bolt on the rear radius arm is a hex head 3/8" dia x 3" long which passes from inside the cockpit and is fastened with a nut under the wheelarch. I seem to remember that current design is different ? Is it now a socket head cap screw in to a threaded bush ? What is the size and length ? Paul McKenzie
Roger, My '96 chassis has a 3/8" by 2" hex head bolt into a threaded bush with a plain and a spring washer under the head of the bolt. There were some failures reported on these original spec bolts a few years ago, and I followed the opinion/advice? at the to change these for minimum 12.9 HT. Rob Walker
Roger, Caterham changed back again to a non threaded bush on my 2004 arch chassis, the bolt is a 3/82 unf cap allen with washer and nylock at the radius arm. My 1997 had the threaded bush and plain plus spring washer at the radius arm. Take your pick. Rob
myothercarsa2cv
My 2008 metric chassis has a bolt and nut in the top mount, not sure about the lower one. There's no access hole from the cockpit so it could be threaded.
