Fuel Pressure

Following some adjustments, I'd like to check my fuel pressure.

Firstly - Am I correct in thinking it should be around 3 bar on my 1.8k Supersport?

Secondly - Anyone in the North West got a suitable gauge they could lend me?

Some 1.8K supersports have a fuel rail with an adjustable FPR, these are set to 4 bar. If you have the standard fuel rail with the stock rover regulator then it is 3 bar. The adjustable FPR is aluminium and has two nuts on the top for adjustment.

Remember that the FPR is referenced against manifold pressure so when the engine is under no load and manifold vacuum is high the indicated fuel pressure will be lower than 3 bar since the gauge is referenced against atmospheric pressure.
