  5. Hi, change coils 3 & 4 with 1 & 2 and you will see if the coils/COPs are the problem. Edited by - geko on 14 Sep 2014 15:05:10
  6. Hi, a new coil loom is worth to try: Link I had troubles with the Ford COPs used for the CSR 2.3 Duratec before I switched over to (4 wire) VW COPs and Haltech ECU. Failed ignition on two cylinders at the same time may point the problems with the MBE ECU. Hanns Per have similare troubles: CSR owner Forum Edited by - geko on 13 Sep 2014 18:21:37
  7. Hi, I think you have this TPS fitted to your R500 roller barrel: http://www.caterhamparts.co.uk/product.php?id_product=4056 If you can read the TPS voltage in your MBE ECU it is no big deal to adjust it again. Mostly the TPS have to much play an read 0% while you have already open the throttel a bit and the engine will stall to due lean AFR. Here you can read (start at page 28) how to fit this TPS: CSR260 Cosworth engine build manual Edited by - geko on 15 Aug 2014 08:31:23

  12. Hi, no engine mgmt light on, during start is a sign for a defect ECU. The best case is, only the 12V power supply for the ECU is gone. Maybe a pin from the ECU connector is corroded or have bad connection.
  13. Quoting JEM: ...Removed ECU to find water inside,... Hi, This is an absolute no go for electronic components....I think your ECU is the problem. Now you have a kind of electonic lottery ECU. ☹️ Let check it from am ECU repair specialist.
