jeffi Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 I've reached the point where I've finished the front suspension and just about to install the engine but I've come across four plastic cylinders/spacers which have one flat face and the other diagonally cut. They are approx 20mm in diameter with a 10mm hole through the middle. They were in the bag marked "Front Suspension" but I'm at a loss as to what they're for! My wiper motors came are already fitted to the scuttle but on closer examination, these plastic items are fitted under the nut on the spindles to angle the motors. Any reason why I would have been send two spare sets - each pair is a slightly different length, so I guess this is to take up some slack or adjust the operation of the wipers? andrew_r Posted February 20, 2010 Share Posted February 20, 2010 I guess one pair is for on top of the schuttle and the other pair fits beneath.
