Ray Pearce
An expensive way to do it would be to install an Emerald ECU

GPBox
Thanks for all the 'varied' suggestions, some I have to be honest a little more practical than others......on careful assessment, but I've opted to go with Dave J's suggesiton .......... Ray Pearce
Ok then, the more sensible suggestion is to get another fob from someone like Alarm Remotes You can either send off your 5AS unit (the immobiliser) and all your existing fobs to them and they will program a new fob for £70 OR for £88 they will send you a new fob and a "dongle" that lets you program it yourself by using the diagnostic socket that should be dangling under the dash in the region of the steering column. (Oooo errrr missus - dangling dongles 😳)
GPBox
thanks Ray, thats sounds like a plan....has anyone used the "dongle" reprogramming route.....does it plug into teh 5AS itself or somewhere else? cheers Graham

Johnty Lyons
very very very simple Use the fob to switch off the immobiliser then and only then unplug it . jj MTM , N.I.
